Polystyrene is a thermoplastic with good transparency, lightness and processability, which are classified into 4 common categories: GPPS, HIPS resistant, EPS expansion, XPS extruded. This grade is in the TJPS-G1551 category.<\/p>\n

Polystyrene<\/h3>\n

Polystyrene is produced in a multi-step process. The initial combination of ethylene and benzene leads to the production of ethylbenzene, which is formed by a process called hydrogenation from ethylbenzene to the styrene polymer group. Then another process in the presence of oxygen, oxidizing agent or light as a catalyst is actually a process called free radical polymerization and eventually leads to the production of the final material, polystyrene.
\nPolystyrene is a hard, brittle and transparent polymer material that transmits more than 90% of ordinary light, which is why it is also called crystal. This polymer group also begins to soften and melt at 90 \u00b0 C.
\nThis polymer works very well in terms of electrical current insulation and also has very low moisture absorption properties.<\/p>\n
